Which parent would not want to have a respectful child?

This is one of the reasons why parents look for martial arts mostly, they are looking for “discipline and respect”.

But what would respect look like in the parents mind? is it obedience?

We believe that Jiu-Jitsu offers in the first place a different type of respect, self-respect.

By encouraging the child to overcome challenges, we create self-esteem, teaching them not to give up, resilience, sharing tasks, empathy.

By teaching one to self- respect in the first place, we are also teaching to respect others. As we believe there is no respect in subjugation, it has to be a two-way street.

In Jiu-Jitsu we learn to live, respect and enjoy diversity. After all we are all the same inside the Gi.

We make martial arts complete, there is space for everyone to stand out and enhance their characteristics and qualities.

From the skinny to the overweight, from the most skilled to the least coordinated, from the most active to the least energetic, everyone will have their moments of glory on the mat.

Respecting the shared environment (mat), respecting training partners and respecting the master, helps a child learn naturally to respect nature, all the people around him and especially the elder and wiser.

Raise a respectful child.
