Head Instructor Vladimir Williams
Vladimir Williams consistently ranked one of the top Jiu Jitsu Competitors in the world during his competitive years of 2005-2010. He has 20 years of Jiu-Jitsu experience and 10 Years at the rank of Black Belt. Vladimir is currently a 3rd Degree Black Belt. He obtained his ranking directly from Jacare of Alliance.
Richard “Rico” Mareira
Richard “Rico” Mareira served in the United States Army for fourteen years. It was during his service that he was introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu though the Modern Army Combatives Program. He started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu exclusively in 2007, in Colorado Springs, CO, and has kept it up ever since, competing and training at all levels. While serving in the Army, stationed at Fort Carson, CO, he earned a position teaching Soldiers in the techniques taught as part of the Modern Army Combatives Program as well as supplementing his training by also becoming proficient in the art of Judo and Wrestling. Rico earned his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt in 2016 and his first degree in 2019 from Andre Quiles.
After training and teaching in multiple training facilities around the country he has learned what works, and more importantly, what does not work regarding training students. This includes training techniques, methodologies, and philosophies. He believes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is for anyone who wishes to learn and that all students should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race, gender, religion, orientation, and belt level. He is committed to our students and their individual training goals, not his own for them.
